FAQ

How do I know when a bottle of tea is expired?

Soon enough you won't need a decoder ring to figure out this formula as we are adding expiration dates to all of our bottles, but until then the date code is in the form of a Julian date.
Here’s an example of how to read our codes: 9323 L4JLF 12:30. Based on the example given, this bottle was made on the 323rd day of 2009 which was November 19th, 2009 at 12:30PM. The letters in the code pertain to the product facility where it was made. Our glass bottles and cans have about a 16 month shelf life, while our plastic bottles have about an 11 month shelf life.
