Zodiac sign: Virgo

Best advice your grandmother ever gave you: 1. Watch out what you say (esp. in West Texas)- somewhere along the line, we’re probably related 2. Use the good china and silver- there’s no sense in having it if it’s just going to gather dust

Favorite local eatery (wherever you live now): Apple Annie’s, Lambert’s Barbeque, Vespaio Ristorante

Favorite Sweet Leaf flavor: Original Sweet Tea

Favorite Sweet Leaf cocktail: Half & Half + Tito's Vodka

Favorite part about working at Sweet Leaf Tea:
The people/friends here- it really says a lot when you hang out with your co-workers outside of the office. Getting to bring my dog, Bess, to work with me is also a perk. You can find her sleeping under my desk or wastebasket diving- the dog loves to eat trash! She’s also pictured on the back of the Raspberry Iced Tea label

Where would we find you in your spare time? (hobbies, charities, sports, bars?): In my garden (I have a plot at a community garden on the East side), wakeboarding on Lake Austin, at the Auditorium Shores dog park with Bess, or in my kitchen cooking with friends

Musician, athlete, author, or historical figure you would like to chat with over a bottle of tea: Shepard Fairey, Abigail Adams

Most memorable concert and why: Manu Chao at ACL ’08. I don’t know how it happened, but I somehow found myself chatting with the guys from Vampire Weekend about the presidential debate that was taking place that afternoon. Bill Murray and Jenny Lewis joined in the discussion, and a couple of Peach Sweet Leaf Tea + Tito’s later, we reasoned that we didn’t need to leave the festival to watch the debate, as Manu Chao’s music was political enough. Fast forward to Alexandra and I dancing like maniacs on stage during his concert… it’s just crazy what you can get yourself into when you’re with the SLT crew!

5 recent songs or albums I listened to in my car or on my iPod: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Local Natives, Phoenix, Fleet Foxes , Nina Simone

"Guilty pleasure" song or album that you secretly love: “Baby Got Back”

Best music festival survival tip:
Cliff Bars and lots of water throughout the day

Rock star alter-ego:
Gogol Bordello
